Completely :offtopic: of WDW but I'd like anyone's opinion on Ugg boots please :)

I'm wanting some flat boots that I can wear, with skirts, in the winter and was looking online, last night, at Ugg boots :goodvibes

I know, like anything else you can buy, that there are 'authentic' ones and also 'look alikes' but was wondering if anyone has any recommendations :confused3

My oldest DD, and boyfriend, informed me that 'They are just wrong Mum.......' :lmao:
I'm holding out before making the final decision ;)

Thanks in advance

Hmm, I quite like them and had thought about something like that for the Winter, but are they water proof? as we all know that the UK is a little bit wet!

On the authenticity part of your question I personally would much rather have the real thing, I just think that you get what you pay for at the end of the day and it will probably end up costing more in the long run if the copies aren't any good. Case in point we have a fake pair of Crocs in the shop that we store the jibbitz in so that people can see what you do with them, now bear in mind that they haven't even been worn and have only had kids picking them up to look at the jibbitz and yesterday the back strap fell off! Well that's what you get for £2! ha ha! :)

Personally i think they look nice but don't think dd would appreciate me wearing the same boots as her.

I love my Ugg's so comfy :) I don't wear mine with skirts though, mainly with jeans.

I believe you can treat them so that they're waterproof :)

I'm off into Leeds tomorrow so think I'll try some on :thumbsup2

I've found several online stores, some authentic others not.

Given the choice I'll opt for the 'good stuff' as I agree, you get what you pay for ;)

Ugg boots were invented by a cornishman who lived in australia, he sold the name 'ugg' as a copyright and produces the same boots now under the trading name of the Celtic Sheepskin Company, google them and you can buy online

I have a couple of pairs of Uggs, love them, they are so comfy. I got mine in Orlando.

I tried some on today and am a little unsure what size to order......:confused3

I'm normally a UK 7 (US 9) but found the UK size 6 to be better fitting - I think....Do they tend to be big sizes? :)

Both of my pairs of Uggs are size 4 when normally I take a 5.

My Girlfriend bought her's off e-bay (Well it's my account so i payed for them, more fool me)

She liked them that much she as bought (me again) 3 pairs from the same seller

I'd never wear them :rotfl2:

No, She as never payed for none of them as yet :headache:
