I thought that a larger children's size, like a size 6, was equivalent to a women's adult size - a 7 or something.
Am I crazy or correct in in my thinking?
Sorry......yes, I mean Ugg boots.are you talking about shoes?
Once the girl has gone from toddler sizes into girls sizes....those are womens sizes. So a size 5 in girls is the same as a womens 5, same with a 6...etc.
Most womens shoes don't start until 6, but some places have 5s.
I believe it is a kid size 6 is an adult size 8. I bought my 13 year old daughter kids 6, and they fit her (typically an 8) perfectly. It's a smart idea because the kid's are cheaper!
A child size 6 is equivalent to a woman's size 8 in UGGs.
Actually a girls size once they get past 13 so a 1-5 not a llittle girls size -before 13 is about 1 1/2 to 2 sizes bigger in an adults
so 1-13 little girls
1-5 big girls and add 2 sizes to get a women's so a big girls 2 equals about a 4 in womens.
a 3 is about a 5
I sadly know this very well because I have very small feet and the shoe stores don't want to carry 5's anymore let alone 4's so I buy a lot of girls shoes.
so once it gets over the 13 into big gilrs add 2 sizes to get the womens.
Girls usually only go up to 4's
Not quite. There should be no difference let alone 2 size difference.
Sizes
Childrens go from 2 to 13 1/2 then it starts over again with a 1 going up some chilrens manufactures go to a 6 other stop at a 3 but the size just keeps going. A older childs 6 is the same as an adult size 6. Where you are see the diffence is each manufacturer may run their sizes big or small, but the actual scale is not different. Sorry but I have to dispute this. I wear a women's 5 and it is absolutely the same as a children's 3. Even the lady at the UGG store told me that. A child's size 4 is way too large for me. It is not normal to see a child's size over a 4.
At most shoe stores when I ask for a 5 they take me to the kids shoes and say a 3 is the same.
