UGG boots - - have you ever seen them on sale?

For those of you having difficulty locating Uggs in the stores....why not just buy them online at Zappos.com or Shoes.com? Both places offer free shipping, and free return shipping if the size isn't right.

I agree on the Zappos website. I ordered mine last week and they were delivered two days later. I wear a size 6 1/2 in women's shoes, but I took the advice of everyone hear on this thread and ordered a youth's size 5. Because Zappos has free shipping both ways, I wasn't worried about if I didn't like them.

They fit perfect. I really can't tell that there is a big difference between the women's and the youth's (except $30!!):thumbsup2

check out the nordstrom sale, starts on wed, nov. 5th, they usually always have some kind of uggs on sale but not the classic ones. they also did the airbrushing at my store, not sure how much extra it was because my DD wanted hers plain (like everyone else at her school).

My DD14 asked for Uggs for her birthday and I looked everywhere for a coupon or sale. Ebay not very useful, with shipping they are about the same price as on the Uggs website (and they're mostly fakes).

I did finally break down and buy the real Uggs (classic short in chocolate) from the official Ugg Australia site (free shipping and a tiny bit cheaper than Zappos) but I will say - she wears them all the time (and she has a lot of shoes). Wears them with shorts, jeans, skirts, everything at least 4-5 days a week.

Anyone looking to buy the bear paws, Famous Footwear has a decent selection, free shipping combined with a 20% code 0808299 AND BOGO 1/2 off...seems like a real bargain!

LOVE the look of the Uggs and I'm sure they're very warm, but I absolutely cannot afford them, especially since they are not practical for the winters we have here in MI. Even with a protector spray, I know they would quickly become ruined...we don't just get cold and a little snow...it is tons and tons of snow and slush...I need a waterproof rubber boot.

Otherwise, I might consider paying more than $100 for a boot!

When I meant "genuine" I meant real sheepskin not the fake stuff other companies use to cheapen their prices. I did not mean to say they were the "actual/original" UGG. I should have clarified better. My apologies.

The only difference between some of them are the reinforced heel/toe, which I prefer. If you wear them alot the sole will fade hence rubbing the heel to the ground ruining your boots.

So yes, I can see where a teen might be disappointed. As I said in my post they are good quality. I will stick with that. My oldest pair are from the Decker Company, which if you read their disclaimer on the bottom of the page they tell you they are not to be confused with them. They aren't in the best of shape and I paid top dollar at the time and that is with the best of care for my boots. Besides, I tend to not buy from China if I can help it. I have always been that way, more so when I had my first child. :)

My apologies again if you were looking for the most "popular" UGG. :confused3The OP wanted a fairly decent priced UGG and that is what they offer.

If you want "real" UGG's your going to be paying top dollar no matter where you look.

Nice find on the article about real UGG's it is very informative.

Thanks for clarifying that. :)

I am not sure if this has already been posted yet but Nodstrom has camo classic short for $89.90. My oldest dd asked for those and when I searched I found the great deal at Nordstrom. I was so excited. From what I have read on the internet the camo is not very popular. That is probably why they appeal to my "dare to be different" 16 yo. Funny thing is the exact boot in a children's size is actually $10 more than adult size.

I just found this code on slickdeals.net. I have not tried it, as I bought my Uggs a couple of weeks ago, but its worth a shot if you are still looking for them.

ShopBop.com offers 30% off with code EARLYGIFT. Code may be used on UGGs as well as everything else on the site.

Bloomingdales has Friends and Family this weekend through November 15. I got 20% off my Uggs - the ones she wants are probably the Classic short chestnut - this is by far the most popular.

Help! Has anyone seen the UGGs Classic Tall in Metallic? Are they cute? My DD12 would like a pair of UGGs and they have these for a good price in her size online. Are these ok to buy or is it strictly the classic colors that are in style with the kids? :confused3
