UG crowd level calendar...uh, what????

For 3 Mondays in December (4th, 11th, and 18th) the UG site lists Epcot as the best park for those days. Okay, gotcha'!

But, for parks to avoid, it lists MK, EP, DS, and AK. hmmm...


Does that mean I should just go to Universal on the 11th??

First of all, in December I have found that if a park is going to be crowded (which is happening more and more in Dec) you can always avoid the crowds if you go first thing in the morning. Even if you get there at 9am, the parks will be close to perfect for a few hours.

I would just plan on the 11th to get to your park early. If you were going to go to the MVMCP, go Tues night. Then you can go to bed early on Sunday.

Have you gone in December before? If not you will be blown away by how wonderful it is!

I just thought it was funny that the UG crowd calendar had all 4 parks listed as ones to avoid on those Mondays. It made me wonder if anyone else had noticed that...if it's not an oopsie, I am anxious to hear the reason!

We made our first December trip last year and loved it so much that we are going back this year! You are so right...the decorations are wonderful and getting to the parks at opening is a good strategy that we use every trip. It makes a world of difference in how much we are able to get done.
