UG Cheat Sheets Now Online!

Do you have one for MGM too? Or Animal kingdom? These are very well done!!

Okiemom, I think that Len said he would have these up by some point tomorrow. (But be careful! I do have selective reading issues. :) )

Great!! These are so neat. I got the Epcot one to fit, but the MK one still is cut off a little bit, but I am computer dense, sometimes. I will look for the other ones later, after all I am not going till next November.

Wow! Those are awesome. Wish I had had one of those when we went on our trip! Are there ones for MGM and AK?

They aren't ready yet. I'm sure Len will know us when they are so keep your eyes on this thread.

Len - I have one comment. How about a yellow box with an x if it is closed and a yellow box without an x if it is open but not recommended? Or grey for closed and yellow for open and not recommended? Having the same symbol for both is a little confusing esp. on the epcot one where the close times in FW vary by attraction. I know it has been confusing for me in the past that the stated closing time for FW is 7 pm, but several of the FW attractions stay open until 9.

Otherwise, I think these are awesome! Thanks!

Thanks very much, everyone!

I'm going to try to get MGM done this evening. Before I post them, however, I've asked resident MGM expert and DISer QuickGold (a.k.a. Matt) to take a look at them. If you've not yet visited his site, URL=http://www.mgmstudios.org/]MGM Studios[/URL], it's loads of fun and lots of good information.

Aec, thanks for the idea - it's worth considering. My only concern would be whether too many symbols or options would make the chart hard to read, especially in a hurry. The current "Yes/No/Use FASTPASS" system has a certain simple appeal.

But the beauty of these boards is that we don't have to guess. Let's just ask what other people think. Anyone?

Looks good, however, one thing (so far :smooth: ) doesn't make sense to me.

How is it that the stand-by lines for Pooh and Pan are OK until 10 AM on an ultra busy 9-10 day, but not on a 6-8 day?

Cheers.

Len, I agree with aec. The cheat sheets are FABULOUS, but for all the parks it would definitely help to differentiate between closed and not recommended. Also, for EPCOT it really would be great to denote somehow what's open in Future World between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., and whether these are recommended. Thanks for listening, and above all for your great work.

If I had to guess, I'd say that it's because on 9-10 days, the MK park opens an hour before normal (e.g., 8 am to all guests, versus 9 am), spreading out the folks who get to the park "early" and keeping lines relatively low.

On 6-8 days, regular park hours apply, so no one gets a head start. That means more people are competing for places on the same attractions.

Does that make sense?

I took aec's advice and changed the Magic Kingdom charts to use dark gray to indicate "closed." I like it a lot. Thanks, aec - great idea.

If most folks agree with the new color scheme, I'll change Epcot as well. Let me know.

Thanks again!

Glad I could help. It looks great!

Cool.

Epcot updated too. I'll probably get MGM done in the next 24 hours, pending Matt's check, then AK.

Len,
Thanks for these sheets! I can't wait for the last two parks!
