Uber with double stroller?

I'm booked at Poly for ease of transportation with a double stroller. I hate loading/unloading it on buses. Last trip I took cabs (monorail was down often) and it was quite expensive. This trip I was thinking maybe an Uber XL but I would want them to know in advance I'll be loading a double stroller. Have any of you done this? Do drivers tend to frown on you bringing strollers? I know cab drivers didn't bat an eye. I wouldn't want to annoy/upset anyone and yes I'd tip well.

I don't know the answer to your question, however...

If you're taking a double stroller, I can only assume you have 2 small kids. Just wanted to be sure you're aware that Uber will only provide 1 car seat. Just wanted to make sure you're prepared with regards to how your children will be seated in the Uber.

Yes, if they're under 6, boosters or child seats (depending on age) are required by law. The driver may decline to take you if you don't have them.

You can request an Uber with 1 child seat, at an extra cost. The seats Uber provides are not intended for infants.

If I have anything unusual about my Uber ride, I always text the driver as soon as he or she accepts my fare to let them know. For instance, last time we had 4 adults so I gave them the head's up in case they needed to move items to the trunk or anything like that. You could always shoot the driver a text to tell them you have a double stroller and he or she will cancel the fare if it won't fit. I can't imagine they would have a problem with a double stroller otherwise, if it fits in their trunk or cargo space.

FWIW, UberXL will cost a little more than an UberX. Maybe not as much as a taxi, but the savings may not be as great.

Just a thought. If you have two kids, and two adults, that Uber is going to be very crowded if you have a double stroller in addition to a couple of suitcases. Are you okay with a suitcase on your lap or on the floor under your feet?

We won't have suitcases. We will be taking ME from the airport. I only plan to use Uber from Poly to AK or possibly Epcot if the monorail is down. We've taken cab vans and there was plenty of room. Only one child will need a car seat. The older one will be 7. Thanks for the replies! I appreciate it.
