i have bought tickets online do I therefore get an Uber to the magic kingdom ticket center? Does vary by park?

Link your tickets to your My Disney Experience Account. If you buy MagicBands and link them to your MDX account, you won’t have to go to a ticket window at all.

Every park has Ticket windows and Guest Relations windows outside of each park. Guest Relations is also found at Disney Springs and the TTC.

If Magic Kingdom will be your first park, you can pick up your hard, plastic tickets at TTC or outside of MK if you decide not to use MagicBands.

You can take an Uber to the TTC and then a monorail/ferry. Or you could take an Uber to the Contemporary and walk over to MK.

Second post sounds like you are staying on property in a Disney hotel?

If so you don't need an Uber, you can just take a Disney bus.

Staying at embassy suites. Conference at swan and dolphin. So my challenge is the back and forth to conference hotel and park in evenings

The Disney buses pick up at Swan and Dolphin to transport you to all 4 parks and Disney Springs.

You can walk to DHS and Epcot from your conference.

The Map Sticky at the top of the Theme Parks forum by @Robo outlines the walking paths to Studios and Epcot.

Just so you know, you will not get MagicBands, that is only Disney resorts, but you don't need one for FP+, just tickets.

Of course you can buy one if you'd like to have one.

You’ll have WiFi throughout MK and at Contemporary if you walk there to get an uber.

Swan and Dolphin have their own WiFi, not Disney’s. Your conference should be able to supply you with the WiFi login info.

The uber pickup at Contemporary is a better and easier place and you can use WiFi in the lobby and valet areas to confirm your uber.
