Uber Question

Planning on using Uber quite a bit on our next trip and I'll have my 5 year old son with me every time. Has anyone found the Orlando drivers to carry child booster seats with them? Around Denver they certainly don't but I was hoping Orlando being the family vacation mecca it is that we might be all set. Thanks for any info!

Doubt it. Where would they be stored when not in use? They'd have to carry a variety of sizes/types of car and booster seats.

Not many, but the car seats available for $8 a ride within the tourist corridor are front-facing and approved up to 60 lbs. Availability of cars with car seats may be scarce at peak times.

Suggest you get a foldable or inflatable booster seat and carry it with you. Search for BubbleBum, which can be ordered from Amazon, Target, or Walmart.

No, just car seats. Uber does not support booster seats. I keep one in my trunk because it's cheap and I don't want to be illegal, unsafe, nor to turn down a rider when I can avoid it, but I don't think many other drivers do.

So I could request an uber with a carseat on the app before I select to be picked up? Is Lyft the same? Thanks!

Yes, but only in the areas surrounding WDW, I-Drive, Sea World, and Universal, and at the airport or Florida Mall.
