We'll be going to Disney World this May and my daughter will have a wheelchair =manually operated.

2 separate mornings we have early breakfast reservations. one at crystal palace in mk and the other at Ohana.

If we use uber, are they prepared to haul a wheelchair and do I need to let them know when I put in the request?

Same for a cab?

Also, looking for how long the trip usually takes from Pop Century to those two places.
Pop Century to Magic Kingom park for reservations at 8:30am and
Pop Century to the Polynesian for Ohana breakfast at 8am (I think).

Thanks!

I would take the buss they run plenty early to make your PP ADR and it is free

Where is your resort? The Disney Busses have wheel chair access, but I understand that the busses can sometimes take longer and if it's first thing in the morning, you'd rather have a quicker alternative. You can request a larger Uber, and they could probably fit it in the trunk, if the driver is able to transfer into the car seat. Cabs you can definitely call and request a wheel chair friendly one, or have your hotel call. Uber is cheaper though. Cab will be guaranteed. Your preference!

I think in this case I would go with a cab. You can arrange for one ahead of time and request something that could accomodate the wheelchair.

Is there a reason you don't want to use the bus, especially to MK? Buses are all wheelchair accessible, and they start running about 6:30 AM every day.

If you decide to use Uber I'd recommend Uber XL. They're larger vehicles and you'll have no problem fitting a manual wheelchair.

Uber training includes information about transporting wheelchair users and other people with disabilities. That said, enforce is easier with cabs due to licensing by local governments.

They're supposed to be able to handle it, but I would let them know when you make the request anyway. You don't want an Uber driver in a compact car who forgot to empty their trunk, or who is carrying a car seat and the wheelchair doesn't fit.

Also, you'd have to get the wheelchair in and out by yourself, unless you wanted to trust the folding/lifting/storing of the wheelchair to someone who has probably never touched one before. I wouldn't. Plus, since Uber is supposedly a 'ride share' (yeah, right) there's the chance that there will be personal items in the vehicle that may damage/spill onto the wheelchair. As stated, who knows what's in the trunk?
