So we’re bringing out 15 month old since then grandparents are busy

I’ve read some Uber’s and lyts have baby seats. How do I find those when looking. I’d rather Uber from the than pay 25 a day for parking

Nope, not available here, sorry. You could use Disneyland Express, a bus, that does not require a car seat. Or you can pay more and arrange a private transfer that will provide one.

Are you flying? I’d buy a Cosco Scenera and install it into the vehicle yourself. Even better if the tot has his own seat on the plane and you can use it for the flight; otherwise, you can check the car seat.

Nope we’re driving. Staying at the motel 6 about 2 miles away.

Ok thanks
You could still get a cost effective travel seat so you don’t have to move your regular one in and out of your car. The Cosco Scenera Next is probably the best convertible seat in the market for that age kiddo. It’s about 7 pounds and costs $50 or less depending on retailer. We got a lot of use out of it when The Boy was little, as a travel seat and “extra” for Granny’s car. This site reviewed several seats for travel use, if you’re interested. https://www.tripsavvy.com/best-travel-car-seats-4587995

They wouldn’t be able to store the seat once they’re at Disney, though - using your own seat to Uber to and from the parks just isn’t practical. For kids old enough to use a travel booster like a mifold or bubblebum, it’s fine because those can be stored in a bag, stroller or locker - but you can’t really store a full seat.

Ok i just saw thread from 2016 that says there is an ART kiosk in the motel 6. Anyone know how long the drive is?

I checked the site out and a little confused on the route but I have time
There’s a frequent poster here (someone international?) who stays at the Motel 6 and uses ART. I’m trying to think of the username...

What hotel/motel are you staying at? Here is a list of hotels/motels that sell ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) passes:
https://rideart.org/hotel-pass-sales/
Pretty sure that a bus doesn't require the use of a car seat.

Oh, and you can buy it online too:
https://rideart.org/fares-and-passes/
The baby rides free (under 3 years of age)

I've stayed at Motel6 and IIRC the drive is about 2 miles give or take a bit from Motel 6 to M&F parking structure, around 1 mile to the Toy Story lot. Parking is $25.00/day at DL.

ART is pretty good and very easy to use. We normally Uber (no kids) if we're offsite but have used ART a couple of times when staying at an RV park nearby.

Oh yeah, duh 🙄. We always used ours on the shuttle from airport to hotel. Never mind OP, sorry for being so obtuse!

waving hi, yep thats me :)

The reception desk at Motel 6 sells the ART tickets. Its less than 10 minutes travel time depending on traffic. The buses are never that crowded and I always get a seat. If you have any other questions about Motel 6 just ask :)
