We'll be doing 3 days at WDW before our cruise and we are trying to decide the best way to get from the resort to port on monday morning. We are getting picked up by relatives on Friday after the cruise so we really only need to arrange one way transportation. Has anyone taken an uber there? Or is there another town car type option you'd recommend? We aren't a huge fan of busses and DH has said he doesn't want to drive. Thanks!!

How many people with how much luggage? You probably need UberXL if you have any luggage, so that would run you about $100 to the port. The local car services probably more between $130 and $150. I know you said you didn't care for the bus, but Disney transfers by motorcoach would be $35 per person. The benefit to car service or Disney is that you can book it ahead of time. I would guess Uber would be available in the morning you want to go to the port, but what if no driver picks up the ride?

Uber/Lyft is totally fine, this is a very common practice by Orlando locals going to the cruise port. We have a home just behind Magic Kingdom and have done this several times. It can sometimes be a little more difficult getting the return ride if there are multiple ships in port that day.

Is there a particular car service you'd recommend we look into? Thanks!! Oh, and it would be 2 adults and 1 child, probably 2 bags of luggage and a couple of carry ons.

Good to know! Thank you!
