Uber Family

hello! I am going to Disney with my DH and DS2 in December and was wondering about this option. I've used Uber a couple of times here in Toronto so am a little familiar with the app. However I do have a few questions... Is Uber Family just another option like UberX or Uber Black? I've heard there is a surcharge of $5 per ride, is that correct? Is it cheaper then to still take uber family (within Disney and to universal) than a taxi? How long does it usually take to get one from the time you request for the ride in the app? Lastly, is there an Uber sticky where I can see where/ what location to actually request one from each park and Disney springs? Thanks!!!

The car seats supplied are approved for kids 22-60 lbs.

Where it's available, there are 2 additional options: UberX with car seat, and UberXL with car seat.

I've heard there is a surcharge of $5 per ride, is that correct?

I think usually so, or at worst about the same.

How long does it usually take to get one from the time you request for the ride in the app?

It varies. Sometimes there'll be one waiting at the park pickup, and sometimes you'll wait 15-20 minutes. At times, like late nights and heavy park closings, there may be none available for a time. XL with car seat usually takes longer, and is more likely to be unavailable.

Lastly, is there an Uber sticky where I can see where/ what location to actually request one from each park and Disney springs? Thanks!!!
