Uber Charter in Orlando

Just got an email from Uber that they've launched Uber Charter in Orlando
I don't know much more about it other than what they put in the email. Maybe it is something folks here could use?

Mears is probably the company that will handle this in Orlando. They run Uber Black here.

I stand corrected. I just opened the Uber app to Charter, and it says, “Powered by US Coachways”. That’s a company that subcontracts other bus companies. I bet Mears will end up serving most of the requests.

So you're using one company, Uber, to book US Coachways who will book with Mears.

Just me but booking directly with Mears makes more sense.

Exactly. In Orlando, that’s most likely Mears. They have the largest fleet and fairly low prices.

There's also Academy and Empire and Escort. It depends on who has equipment available.
