I have a 9yo dd who loves to draw, especially cartoons. She wants to become and artist and writer when she grows up. My Christmas present to her (not from Santa) was a dud...projector for drawing, peice o crap.

So, I am going to get her something digital for drawing. I'm thinking the Udraw would be fun for the Wii, but maybe the Bamboo tablet is better for variety...I have no idea? Anyone have either for the purpose of drawing? Can you do anything with your pictures with the Wii Udraw? TIA!!

DS12 got the Bamboo for Christmas. He's had it hooked to his laptopand has not stopped messing with it since yesterday morning. I got him the top model (the difference seems to be how they split the software that comes with it - his has all the software). He loves drawing, photography and video editing.

I don't know anything about the wii game, but the Bamboo is REALLY cool!

My nine year old ds got the Bamboo yesterday and had a lot of fun making animated cartoons with it today. It will take him some practice to figure it out, but it is really cool so far!

Another vote for Bamboo. DD 12 got one for Christmas as well. LOVES IT! We had seen the one for Wii before Chirstmas, which she thought was cool, but still prefer the Bamboo. She will get much more use out of the Bamboo.
