HI
Hubby just got home from Orlando, he did a park and fly package at the sofitel ( which was a problem in itself with being given wrong rom type), which is unusual as weve stayed there 10 plus times and never had any issues.....well today hes gotten off the plane only to find his tyre flat with a screw in it and has had to change the wheel befor edriving home......just what you need after a long haul flight.
My question here is can we make the hotel pay for it??, the tyres were new a month ago and very expensive, hubby drives a Jaguar Xf, and if it had happened on his way there his tyre pressure sensors(which are very sensitive ) would have gone off, plus when they went to move it , it would have already been flat, the car was moved top an offsite carpark and back again yesterday and was fine then, so its definatly something they did rather than us, was as flat as a dodo this morning with large hole/ tear from screw.
The manager is aware of what has happened but we have not discussed replacing it with him yet, was unsure where we stood, anyone know of this happening before??? , surely there insurance would cover this sort of thing.....?????
