Typing Paragraphs ?

Could someone please tell me how to type paragraphs instead of having all of my sentences run together? Thank You.

All you have to do is hit the enter button once
to take it to the next line or twice

to have space in between.

I just hit the return key twice after each paragraph.

That will end the line you are on and leave a space before the next one starts. Like I am doing with my sentences.

I just start a new paragraph whenever I have a new thought or subject to write about. But I have to admit, I am not all that great on deciding where I should start a new one.
