Well after going on to my partner about how fantastic the 2 days free and kids under 12 offer was for weeks he finally decided YESTERDAY he wants to go to DLP in March! Of course I was fuming... The price has increased by £300 for HNY ( I could have had Disneyland Hotel for the current price)!

Its like for weeks he'd ignored everything I had been rambling on about and yesterday he finally started listening!

Does anyone know approximately when the next decent offer may turn up?

Im looking at end March 2013. I know I wont get the same price as previously but somewhere close would be nice!

around end september or start og october i think you would normally find a deal.
men eh, know how you feel.
have free flights at some stage in the next 6 months and debated with him about bringing DD in Nov for her birthday and when I meantioned it again he looked at me all bewildered!

Id hold out another bit and see what comes up. Or book the Cheyenne and upgrade with the next offer so that youre covered if a deal comes up or if not you'd still have something booked.

You never know, March is far enough away to possibly have another good offer. Just keep looking, and don't book anything until you're happy enough with the price.

It's the other way around in my household and DW leaves all the booking to me. That way I always ensure we book during the special offers to save us money on the holiday.

If I were you in future just book the holiday and then tell DH how much money you have saved.

I even thought about booking it and not telling him. He never seems interested when we've just got back from a trip but loves it when we are getting close to going.

Im in two minds now anyway, I really want to go back soon but have seen everything other than halloween. Unfortunately this October is too close to (a) get a good deal onsite and (b) have spending money. But the thought of waiting till next October seems very daunting!

I would book Cheyenne but Iv heard that people are being refused the upgrade at current deal prices. And frankly, I dont think Iv ever seen less than 15% off lol.

I just wish all the times Id told OH about how cheap it was, this included preparing spreadsheets (Im a geek) and discussing it with his family in depth! Oh well!

They still have 40% and kids under 12 free today for the period end of March.

I have booked there too for the same period and it worked well.

I'll be booking with 40 off for our trip in the end of March 2013. I'm happy with price I get for SL. HNY is too expensive for us this year. And longer stay is a better option than short stay in a good hotel
I was thinking if I should wait, but I'll book.
