Typical May room rate???

My family is planning a trip for early May 2017. Its been since 2012 since we've been and a lot has changed and my planning skills are VERY rusty. We have been to WDW before but we've never been able to stay onsite. We're really wanting to this time but I still need to stay within a budget and Im having a hard time finding what the typical room rate for May would be. I know there is usually discounts during that time so I guess my question boils down to this....What would you budget per night for CBR? and what do you know about packages, typically, for that timeframe?............and feel free to throw out any other planning tips you might have. I would certainly appreciate them because like I said, Im really rusty.

Recent discounts on moderates are 20-25% off rack rates, but aren't always available for dates and room types you may want.

Package rates for 2017 are not yet announced. If you priced out this year, I would add 10-15%.
