Typical May Discounts

We're considering a trip in May, 2019, so I was looking at historical discounts on Mousesavers. I noticed the discount for May of this year was still available for booking so I went to check it out and was very surprised to see only AoA suites discounted in the value category. Is that typical for May discounts? We had been planning to stay at Pop Century, but if it's not usually discounted at all this time of year I may have to re-think that plan.

I often do a trip in May. AoA doesn’t discount the Little Mermaid rooms— only the family suites. There’s usually a discount for Pop Century; not as good as late January rate, but something off. I think the May discounts are released in early January, so that’s the time to watch. ( And when you find something, book it asap!)
