typical discounts offered by WDW for Art of Animation's Little Mermaid room

Looking for info on typical discounts offered in January that would apply to a Little Mermaid standard room at Art of Animation resort. Can anyone help?

Think that room is normally excluded from discounts. Moving forward there is no certainties around if there will be discounts or what they will look like.

Never seen discounts for mermaid room only family suites at art of animation. Mermaid rooms sell out quite often at regular price.

Not true anymore. The Little Mermaid rooms are included in the Summer Room discount.

Mermaid rooms no longer are a big seller. We arrive at WDW in 35 days for a 10 night stay and our entire trip is still available to book. That could be why they are now included in the Summer Room discounts. Even last year just 2 days before our trip we could have booked our entire stay in a Little Mermaid room. They don't sell like they used to.

To the OP. If I were you I'd take a look at maybe staying at POP. Their new rooms are great and the Mermaid rooms are very outdated. No comparison.

Well that’s good , sounds like a first for little mermaid rooms. We went end of 2018, no discounts, and the rooms weren’t sold out for our time period, they probably were just beginning to realize those rooms were fizzling out in popularity.

Nothing to apologize for, because I've never seen those rooms included in any deals except for now. I just happened to stumble upon it myself.
