At the end of the ride - does it dump you into a deep or shallow pool??

It's a zero-entry wading pool. The deepest area is probably about 4', and it gradually slopes upward so that you can drag your raft onto the shore (or, more likely, back up the steps for another trip. :teeth: )

As you walk the winding path through the park entrance, at one point you should find yourself with the changing rooms in front of you, gift shop to the right and the wave pool to the left. Proceed straight past the changing rooms / lockers and follow the signs for "Out of the Way Cay." Crushin' Gusher is out that way.

Looking at an older map of the park, it would be in the lower right-hand corner of the park. .

From what I have read in other posts you should do your best to keep your bottom up in the air and not sitting on the bottom of the slide. They say it hurts alot as it moves along and has to go up and down. Just a note.

LOL - believe me it does hurt!! The Cm told me to keep my bottom up but I was so busy trying to hold my watershoes ( note : do not wear your watershoes to this ride - you will have to take them off) That I bumped my bottom good onthe first hill! IT was a really fun slide but my back side hurt for a couple days afterwards - so remember to keep your bottom up!! :rotfl:

Can you explain - if you're sitting on a raft, how does your bottom touch the slide? I have no idea what this ride is like.

You're sitting in what is basically an inner tube. It is not hollow - there is a "floor" in the center part that you sit in - but it is very thin, the ride is very bumpy and if you don't hold your butt up you're going to bump it, especially the slide that allows three-person tubes (I forget which one that is, but there's only one that does.

It is more like a double tube ( looks like the number 8) than a raft - there are holes in the center so your behind sits into the tube.
