Does anyone know if TL also has the new finger swiping thing for the MYW passes? I have a friend that didn't use all of her plus options and said I could have them. I think I won't be able to though, because of this new contraption.

If the PLUS options are on a MYW ticket, then you are correct, you won't be able to use them.

If the PLUS option are on an old Park Hopper, then it is my understanding you would be able to use them.

They are on an old park hopper.....Has anyone tried this since the news tickets have come out?

The only thing wrong with this will be the violation of the licensing agreement between Disney and the original owner of the tickets. In other words, go for it! No scanning would be used for the park hopper tickets.

We just returned and have the old 5 day park hoppers with pluses. The water parks do have the finger swipping thing. But if you are using an old park hopper, you don't use the finger thingie. You just put you ticket in the machine the old way. Hope this helps.
