A word of warning about the wave pool:
Some "bright spark" decided to make the shallow areas have a "rough" bottom - it's kinda gravely and scratchy, presumably for grip. Once you get past adult-waist height, this surface disappears and the floor becomes smooth.
The waves that the surf pool churns out are HUGE. They are more than capable of sweeping a grown adult off their feet. My sister, who was 10 at the time, wasn't paying enough attention and managed to get "slammed" by a wave when we were in the surf pool. We weren't deep, she just got knocked down by it, and the surface of the pool floor basically ripped off all the skin from her shoulder blade
She still has a large (2" square) scar to this day.
Since your kids will be little, this is something to look out for. They have two "wave" modes - MASSIVE waves every 90 seconds for half an hour, and then half an hour of "bobbing" waves, which are smaller and continual. This happened during the massive wave session.
If you're deep enough to be able to swim, another word of advice: As soon as you hear the wave (you'll hear it before you see it) swim like heck toward the shore. This way you "ride" the waves instead of getting tossed around by them.
