Typhoon Lagoon Refurb

We are planning our March 11th to 20th trip and I noticed that Typhon Lagoon is closed for refurb with a scheduled re-opening of March 18th. We have never been to either of the Waterparks and we would like to hit both of them this trip. We already have plans for March 19th so that leaves us with March 18th (the scheduled re-opening date) as the only date we could go to TL. Does anyone know how reliable they are on opening the Waterparks on the scheduled date? We are somewhat planning the rest of our days around this date and if there's a great chance that they won't be open, I may rethink our schedule. Any input you have on the relability of Waterpark refurb would be appreciated.

Hi,

That is what they are saying so unfortunately that's all you have to go by.

Even if they have been perfectly accurate every other year, there is no guarantee that something will or won't happen this year that would make them open TL a few days early or keep it closed a few more days.

I would just check right before you leave to see if there has been any change in the schedule. Anything else is just pure speculation.

The waterpark annual rehabs are very well planned. We normally will open on the day we say we will.

This year the rehabs are nine weeks as opposed to eight in prior years.

Even if we don't BB will be open.
