In your opinion, which is better? If you pay OOP for one water park can you go to the other one too in the same day?

I am making the same decision! I am going with TL since it seems like it has more for our (little) kids.

It appears all single day waterpark tickets are now hoppers, so you can really do both. We had hit everything once at Typhoon and had moved on to repeating our favorites by Noon, so it really seems possible to hit both in the same day. That's our plan for this summer.

Thanks! That's good news!

Blizzard beach has more for little kids...

I think what I meant to say is that the play area at TL is better (for little kids) than the play area at BB. I've heard that from lots of places (though I've never been to either with kids so I don't know).

You can, but if you're going to go to both, it's cheaper to add WP&M to your tickets.

This is what were going to do! We were originally going to only go to just Typhoon Lagoon, but then we realized that for just a few dollars more we could add the WP&M option to our tickets and go to Blizzard Beach also, as well as the mini golf courses and DisneyQuest. It's totally worth it for us!

My family has always liked Typhoon Lagoon better. I tossed around the idea of doing a water park this year but I felt like the main pool at our resort (CSR) is really good and we could use the time we'd spend there doing some exploring and trying new things we've never done before.

Our first time to the waterparks is going to be the 1st week of June. Would like to do both in one day since one person in our group will just have a 1 day waterpark pass. What are your recommendations for family with 13 year old thrill ride seeker, she also likes the wave pool, I am more a lazy river kind of gal.

Hmm, well for what it's worth I think the play area at BB is much better than the one at TL. The area at TL bored my 4yo son. I guess if your kids are all babies (<2) it would be okay.

We like typhoon lagoon better. It seems to have more shaded areas to take a break from the sun..Plus I like shark reef.

When my kids were 4 and 6, they liked TL better. We had WP&M tickets, went to BB and left to go back to TL again. I like the shark reef at TL too
