Typhoon Lagoon or Blizard Beach

My husband and I are about to be going to Disney and we are trying to decide which to go to. Which do you like the best and why??? We have been to typhon Lagoon before but we are thinking about going to blizzard beach this time. However, we would like to hear what you all think so we can decide. Thanks bunches!!! Deah

Our family tends to lean towards BB. Our kids are older and that may be the difference.

We like TL wave pool way better, but the theming and water slides tend to be better at BB. Their wave pool is ok, but we LOVE the BIG hugh waves at TL!

We think the slides are better at BB, but the atmosphere is better at Typhoon Lagoon. We like the feeling of being on a tropical island - it's more relaxing. So I guess it partly depends on whether you're more into the slides or having a relaxing day in the sun.

We've only been to BB once (to check it out), but prefer TL because of the tropical/laid-back atmosphere.

I would suggest you do BB this trip since you've never been. Then you can decide for yourself!!

Since you have never been to BB, you might consider that to be your first choice.

We prefer TL. It's the perfect size, nice and small. Everything at Disney is bigger than life! TL is absolutely managable. It's calm and relaxed. The wave pool and shark reef are biggies for us. When dd (9) and dh are on the bigger slides, ds (3) and I walk around the path. It's the perfect walk. Not too long, not too short.

BB is fun too, but I just can't do it all in one day and relax at the same time. We saw Goofy at BB, that was fun.

It depends on what you are looking for. Like the last poster siad TL does have the laid back atmosphere, but BB slides are MUCH better. The theming at BB is pretty neat. I like them both but BB is my favorite by a large margin. BB tends to get crowded by 12:00 or so, at least it has when we've been there, so get there when the gates open and hit the slides like gangbusters for a couple of hours with little or no wait.
