I have read the best time to get to the water parks is when they first open. But we will be arriving around noon on Saturday, Oct. 2nd and are thinking about going to the water park around 1:00 or 2:00.

Do you think that will leave enough time to enjoy and get our money's worth?

And are the waterparks really crowded even in October?

In October, the waterparks will close at 5:00. If you don't get there until 2:00, I do not believe you'd get your money's worth. You will have missed half the day. The waterparks aren't terribly crowded, but there will be lines for the slides (if that's your thing). October is now a big convention month, so there are more visitors than you might think.

If you have Park Hopper tickets, I would go to my favorite park first and then end up at Epcot (which would close FW at 9:00).
