This summer my family of 4 and 4 of the best bonus boys you could ask for are taking a cruise. Our party will be me my DH and 6 teenage boys 14-16. Southwest moved our flights all around and I took that as a sign to extend our vacation 1 more day. I had initially planned on a water park day and a Disney Springs evening. However, I stumbled upon the H2O glow party and I think the extra cost will be worth it to do it in the evening. My only concern is the weather. I won't have the ability to wait and see the forecast prior to purchasing. I think I am probably overthinking this a bit since most storms blow over quickly in Florida. In your experience do you think I am ok ordering tickets in advance and just riding out any storm that may head our way that day? My family loves the Disney waterparks and can't wait to share this experience with the boys friends.

You should be able to buy the tickets the day of the party unless they sell out. Normally it does rain in the afternoons, so your probably okay. You can always check the 10 day forecast to get an idea of the weather. Sounds like your boys are the perfect age to do this. Have a good time.

FL weather is wonky but I think you should be ok. We don't get a TON of storms in the evening...
