Typhoon Lagoon/Blizzard Beach Refillable Mug

*Note! This is not another dreaded thread about the resort refillable mugs, this is just about the water parks!

I read in one of my guidebooks that you could purchase refillable mugs at the water parks, with barcodes on them. If you visited the water park again, rather than spend the $13 or however much on the refillable mug again, you could just buy another barcode for $5. My question is, is the mug at the same park? Could you purchase the mug at Typhoon Lagoon and then spend the $5 for a new barcode at Blizzard Beach for the mug?

Yes. The mug is good at both water parks. And also the stickers are valid at both water parks on the same day, so if you change parks the mug can still be used that day at the other park.

Thanks for the answer. I was just looking for this answer. My DSis is leaving for WDW tomorrow and I'm loaning her my BB mug.

Hi! We have taken the same mugs back for several years and used them at both waterparks by just buying a new barcode! Totally legal! For us it is a good deal!

My Dsis said it was really easy. They asked about it at one of the food locations (I'm thinking Leaning Pams.) and they said " No problem" and peeled one of the stickers off another mug. $5. Couldn't have been easier.

She did mention that my mug was much bigger than the current mugs.

We haven't done this ourselves yet since on our last trips we have had the free DDP or QSDP and haven't needed any more to drink. But good to know we can.
