Typhoon Lagoon - August 23rd

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if someone might know exactly what is happening on August the 23rd at Typhoon Lagoon? I know there's a moonlight madness event but there doesn't seem to be regular park hours on that day. On another thread someone was talking about there not being enough lifeguards to have BB and TL open at the same time, is this the same deal? They didn't have enough lifeguard to cover the 2 shifts so they are just closing the water park for normal hours?

It was the only day that we were going to be able to work in a WP so it really sucks if that's the case.

Strange indeed, especially if there is an evening event. We have done H20 Glow in the past and the park was open that day. Maybe it's a calendar glitch? Probably worth reaching out to Disney to see what's up.

Also was going to ask if anyone attended the May 23 Midnight Madness event and noticed if the park was open that day for normal operation as well as the event.
