typhon or blizzard?

We'd like to visit one of the water parks, but I'm not sure which one. We have 3 boys: 11, 8, and 5. I'd love to hear thoughts and opinions about the 2 parks.

Typhoon Lagoon is our favorite. We like BB also but my children 5 & 10 love TL. The wave pool there rocks and the Crush n' Gusher water coaster is awesome. The tropical feel appeals to us more also.

with 3 boys, its not even close...............BLIZZARD BEACH without a doubt. Much more 'thrill' type slides there, and the single best waterslide I ever rode---summitt plummit

We didn't get to finish our day at BB, thunderstorm came in, but for the few things we did get to do, my kids 23, 22 and 10 seemed to enjoy BB better than TL (we did a full day at TL). But the highlight to them at TL was the wave pool. I must admit too, that wave pool was fun.

Overall, I think BB's rides are better but TL has the best water park ride I've been on which is the Crush n Gusher. When I first rode it, I got airborn coming off one of the hills. Plus, I think the atmosphere is better at TL. Oh yeah, you can also swim with the stingrays and minisharks at TL!!!

Depending on when you go, you may not have a choice. In the winter they refurbish one of them so there is only one open.

Blizzard Beach has better slides. If your boys are adventurous, definately go there. They have some very fast and tall slides. They also have a much better family raft ride. They also have fun racing slides that 8 or so people can race on at a time. I bet your boys would love that!

Typhoon Lagoon has a fantastic wave pool. They have some fun slides, but not as adventurous.

Both have a great lazy river, with tubes included.

if they aren't really ready for the bigger slides the Ski Patrol area in BB is great for those ages, much better then the kids area at TL

Typhoon Lagoon is a classic, but with 3 kids, Blizzard Beach has the newer, more thrilling attractions..
