Types of 2 BR's @ HHI

Does anyone know what types of 2 BR's are available @ HHI? I mean "one unit" 2 BR's as opposed to a 1 BR + Studio lockout?

Almost all the 2BRs at Hilton Head are dedicated. The only ones that are lockoffs are the ones in the main lodge and the ones under the Grand Villas (16 of them in all, I believe).

If you need a handicapped accessible 2BR, you will be in the main building.

If you're going during high season, when the resort is at capacity, you will have a dedicated 2BR (unless you need handicapped accessible), as the only 1BRs and studios are the ones that make up the lockoffs. During busy times, the 1BRs and studios usually fill up quickly.

We will be there for spring break (2nd week in April). I don't really have a preference I was curious. It is definitely a trade-off. An extra fridge & microwave vs. a better bedroom and avoiding the 2nd sofabed...

During the second week of April, you probably won't have any choice unless you already have a handicapped accessible villa confirmed. The month of April is usually pretty sold out with Spring Breakers like yourself!

We stayed New Year's week last year and we had a dedicated 2 bdrm. It was great. I did not request it. I think we just got lucky, but we really wanted the extra bed not a pull out.
