Type of room at GF

Thinking of renting points for a stay at the GF. What type of room would you get using DVC points. Also, how many points would I need for the first week of December for 5 nights; Tuesday thru Sunday. Thanks!

The rooms that DVC receives at all the WDW resorts is called "run of the house" which means what ever is available when you check-in.

As for renting points to stay at the GF. It may not be wise. The point value for non-DVC resorts is usually high compared to DVC resorts. Tuesday thru Sunday will cost 168 points. If you were able to secure this reservation at $10 a point that would be $1680 or $360 a night for room only. You could probably get the room straight from Disney for less since it is value season.
