We are in the process of booking our July trip to Orlando. We already did Disney and we would like to do Universal Studios/Island of Adventure and Seaworld. We are totally overwhelmed with the options: 2 days park-to-park with express pass, 5 day flex ticket to 5 parks, 4 park bundle.....or just pay for everything individually. We already have our resort booked (Caribe Royale), but we have considered renting a room at one of the Orlando resorts for 1 night just to get the express passes (which would be good for 2 nights). Disney was much easier to plan!! I would greatly appreciate any feedback/suggestions on what to do. We want to go to Universal/IOA for 2 days only and Seaworld for 1 day. Right now we are looking at around 1700.00 for 2 days at Universal/IOA and 1 day at Seaworld which I don't mind saying seems ridiculous. Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

It is a very expensive trip when you are doing more than 1 park. In the summer, the parks are so busy. This summer, with Transformers opening, the parks are going to be especially busy. Staying onsite for one night and getting two days of early admission and unlimited express is the best way to go.

I would book the hotel through the loews website, www.loewshotels.com or by calling them if you are trying to get a AAA discount, and order tickets through undercover tourist.

Are you doing Disney, Universal and Seaworld? I'd cut it down a bit.

Thanks for the response. We are only planning to do Universal and Seaworld. I already have our hotel booked through Caribe Royale, but I am wondering if it still might not be a bad idea to book a room for the express passes. I would actually be cheaper to book a room (even if we never stay there) for the room key. It would be considerably cheaper if we just went to Disney, but my family would like to see something new. I am trying to find the best deal possible.

Okay, I was confused when you were talking about the 5 park flex ticket and the other multi - park tickets.

It is still just cheaper to stick with Universal than to add SeaWorld on. I agree with staying one night onsite, though. It will make your visit much more enjoyable.

Seaworld has a buy one get one day free ticket that you might want to look at.

if you do book a one night stay onsite at the darkside, it will be well worth it besides having the perk of unlimited express lines.

it will be hot in july..........

you could take a few hour break from the parks and go to your onsite hotel and swim for a bit. or just relax in your room away from the heat.

you can return back to the parks until closing time and do more of the rides.

guests that stay onsite, can use the free shuttle from the hotel to SW.
