I was just wondering what the food is like at Donald's Restaurantasorous (sp). We've been to Boma's and Ohana and the food was different and very enjoyable. I'm trying to avoid the eggs, sausage, bacon, muffin, toast stuff that you can easily get at Ponderoser etc. What should I expect from Chef Mickey or Cinderella's etc?

we ate there friday and had a nice buffet. of course, all that you mentioned was on it in addition there was quiche, biscuits, 2 kinds of pancakes, french toast, and gravy for the biscuits. also, there was a "cold" buffet serving fruits, jello(yes, jello), croissants, bagels, and cold cereals. there was milk here for the cereal; syrup for the pancakes was also located here. it was very yummy and hot! cinderella's breakfast is served "plated." basically the same foods, just prepared differently. i don't think cindy's has the pancakes or cold cereals. the breads served were different also.

You can check menus here:<a href = "http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm">WDW MENUS</a>

Most places are going to have similar options, especially at the buffets, some of them have cooks that will make a custom omelette.

But the idea behind the character breakfasts is being able to see the characters otherwise I'd recommend FRESH for something that is really different. They have a lot of the normal stuff, but lots of unique eatings as well. We enjoy this new breakfast at the Dolphin.
