Tyler, knowing you used to be a monorail pilot, I was just wondering due to the distance between Epcot and the Transportation Center how fast do the monorails go?

On the straight away does it go faster or does it go the same speed everywhere?

There are speed limits that are set up on different sections of the beamway. Maximum speed limit is 40mph, which can be found on most of the Epcot stretch, the stretch between TTC and CR, and Poly to GF.

Goof's family was "Family of the Day" at Pop Century, and recieved a special gift basket.

I still say that it was all arranged by Goofy...

Babyfatt, tyler was correct We were "Family of the day" during our stay at POP from july 16-24.

We returned to POP from a busy day at the parks and entered our room to find a " themed basket" with different colored balloons attached to it, along with several goodies for the kids (DD12 & DS9). There was also a beautiful card which read" Family of the Day" and "Thank you for being our Guest!. It was signed, "Your POP Century Front Office Team.

It really made our day special and we placed the basket, balloons and card in our window, where it remained for the rest of our stay. We now have it displayed in our den as a reminder of the "Special Day" we had.

Babyfatt, we had the great pleasure to meet Tyler when we checked into POP. He was working the front desk and did not hesitate to come over and speak when we asked the CM who was checking us in, if he was working.

He is as much of a pleasure in person as he is on these boards.
