Great installment! I can't wait to try TSM on our next trip, the queue looks amazing!! All of Halie's outfits are so adorable! The Margarita party looked like a lot of fun too!!

Now this is a odd post to start with after abandoning my report for months. But here it is, the MGM fight!
Day 5 continued- There is no fighting at Disney World or is there?
When I last left off, Chad was hungry. I was annoyed because I didnt want people to eat right before our ADR. There were breakfast foods in the Villa, he could have eaten there. I also offered for all of us to get an ice cream, but nooooooooooo, he wanted pizza.
We go to Pizza Planet and I tell Chad to grab a table while I go in and order the meal. I didnt want anyone to eat right now, but of course I went ahead and bought the combo meal with a salad because otherwise it would be a waste of a CS meal. So I got the pepperoni pizza with a salad, bottle of water, and Mickey rice krispy treat.
We were all sitting outside at the table, Chad and Halie are sharing the pizza and Im eating the salad and suddenly Rob walks off. I later find out that hes grossed out by Halie eating. She doesnt have the best manners so this was a common theme throughout the trip.
Anyhow, Chad and Halie finish up the pizza and Chad grabs the rice krispie treat. This is where I might be a teeny tiny bit in the wrong. I take it back and say no, were saving it for later. Then I start to say how hes not even going to be hungry and I paid for his dining plan and Im going to be mad when he doesnt even eat his lunch. Then he starts to be mean. Then I tell him hes mean. Then he cusses at me and tells me that hes sick of being told that he was being mean and ungrateful.
I walk off to the store Rob is in, and Rob is furious. He is really fed up with Chad at this point because he hasnt been helping with Halie and because he is upsetting me now with this little episode. Rob wants him and I to just go on alone. I cant do that though, because I dont want Halies trip to be ruined. I go back over to work it out with Chad.
The problem is, Chad aint having it. He continues to cuss and make a scene. I grab Halies hand and take her over to Rob who is getting a popsicle. I tell him to get Halie one and Ill be right back. Chad storms off. I go after him. We cant fight on this trip. This happened on Halies last trip. I was really starting to lose it here. I wanted to just sit down and cry in the middle of MGM. My perfectly planned trip cannot go down the tubes.
Chad stops at a smoking area and I go join him. He cusses me out some more. He is sick of me throwing it in his face that I paid for this trip. To which I reply, Well I did. That didnt help matters much. After a few minutes of arguing he says he will just get a plane ticket and go home right now. I start to cry. People move away from us, probably to take notes to post about us on the DIS where they will put us in the Most Shocking Thing youve seen at WDW thread.
Me crying seems to break Chad down a little and he says hes sorry and its just that hes not used to having somebody tell him where to go and what to do, and that hes tired of getting up early and walking around. He says hed rather just sleep in a little and meet us at the parks later. Ummm no. I didnt pay for a trip to WDW for you to sleep while I take your kid to the parks. More fighting. More crying. I think we finally stop with him saying that I better not say hes rude or mean anymore and also Im not to say, Well, I paid for this. Apparently those words had been coming out of my mouth a lot. Whoops! I hugged him and told him I was sorry and just wanted him to have a nice trip with Halie.
Then we went and found Rob and Halie and went on with our day.

Day 5 Part 3- We get a dream!
After we met back up with Rob and Halie we went over to Star Tours and got FP’s for it. Then Jen texted. They were at TSM waiting for us. We headed back over there. We used the special fastpass and got into the line once again.
I made sure to get pics of everyone in their lovely yellow glasses.
While in line I told Jen about the major drama that had just gone down. It was nice to have a park peep to vent to that understood. The ride was fun, I’m not sure who rode with who, but I know that Rob beat me this time.

Then we told the girls to say goodbye because this really would be the last time they saw each other. I don’t know if Halie will ever get to see Jen’s daughters again, but it sure was fun while it lasted!

After departing from Jen’s family we headed to VotLM. The problem was it looked like we wouldn’t get in to the next show and they were queueing up outside. No thanks. It was super hot. I knew that Little Mermaid was Halie’s favorite character, but it’s just too hot to stand out here. After some quick thinking, I made her an offer. I told her we could either do this ride or go to the Magic of Disney Animation and get to draw a character. She picked the drawing. She loves to draw!
So off we head for the Animation building. When we get there, I see THE DREAM TEAM!!! And they have duffle bags! That means it is prize time. There are two entrance turnstiles, and I get in the one in front of the dream team that is empty. After a minute the dream team tells the CM to move everyone to the same line so we are asked to move. I jump into the other line as quick as possible. Another family was in the line, but they weren’t really in the line if you know what I mean. There was a big gap. Well, thank goodness we got in the line when we did, because when we went through the turnstiles we were the last of the group led away with the dream team.
There were about 20 of us over there. They announced that we would be getting dream ears! Woo hoo!!! I was soooo excited! I’d always wanted dream ears!
After we got our ears we went on in to the building where we watched the little movie that they play. It was cute as usual. I like Mushu. Someday I should watch Mulan. Then we went through to the other area. The Incredibles were there doing a meet and greet, so Halie and I got in line. Chad and Rob found a bench and sat down. Party poopers.
After taking a picture we went to go do some of the activities available. One thing Halie and I did was sing into a TV thingy and then it played the 7 Dwarves with our voices singing Heigh Ho. It was cute, but singers we are not.
Then I went to go ask about the animation thing. It started in 7 minutes and lasts for 20. I felt horrible when I had to tell Halie that we had to leave. Our ADR at Sci-Fi was in 5 minutes. There was no way we could stay for another 30. I promised her we would do a drawing thing later in our trip.
When we arrived at Sci-Fi we were seated within 5 minutes. Chad and Halie in front and Rob and I in back. This meal was where Chad’s grouchiness really stood out once again. He didn’t say but maybe two words to her the entire meal. IMO he should have been pointing things out to her and talking about the movie with her. I was really annoyed with him. I also wanted him to put his dream ears on, but noooooo.
Other than Chad’s attitude, Sci-Fi was great. We always love this place. Chad, Rob, and I all got cookie shakes as our drink on the DDP. Yumm! Rob and I also got onion rings has an appetizer. We had to pay OOP for this. I also got Halie the light-up Tinkerbell drink OOP. She loved it!
I had Shrimp Pasta.
Rob had a burger with cucumber salad. Chad also had a burger with fries.
Halie had a kid’s meal with a burger, fruit and French fries.
For dessert I had Apple Crisp a la mode.
Rob and Chad both had Ice Cream sundaes, though Chad didn’t want one. He was full. Hmmmm, I wonder why. I also wonder why he barely ate any of his hamburger?
Halie got the kids build your own sundae. They really could use a bit more variety in their kids meals.

Since Chad was such a grouch during the meal, I asked him if he wanted to go on back to the room afterwards. He said he would. So Halie and Chad took the bus back to the room. Finally some peace and quiet for Rob and I. We can do whatever we want!
First we used our Star Tours FP. Then we gave away the other 2 FPs. We also got some photopass pics taken by the ride.

He beat me again.
Now personally, I could have ridden this ride for a 5th time, but Rob was ready to go. I was glad to spread the pixie dust by giving away our 2 extra FPs since they were all gone for the day. We gave them away to a couple on their honeymoon. I was excited because when the guy said thanks he had the cutest Irish accent.
Then we headed towards the front of the park. I was a bit surprised that we finally got the chance to do whatever and Rob just wanted to leave. But we had been there for a long time. We did take the chance to get a few photopass pics on our way out.
Everyone was lined up for the parade, and I really wanted to stay, but Rob hates afternoon parades. While he waited in a shop, I took a few pictures of the new Block
Party Bash Parade. I was a little surprised at the outfits the girls wear in the parade. Pretty short, don’t you think?

At this point I was just fed up with everyone getting to do everything they want and me not getting to do anything I want. My eyes welled up with tears and I wished that Halie and I could have just went on this trip alone. By the time we were at the tram to get to our car, Rob was apologizing and telling me that he would do better.
I cheered up enough to take a picture of my dream ears.
When we got back to OKW, we stopped at the Hospitality House. I got a charm bracelet like the cute one Jen had gotten, some bread, and a movie to watch. Then I went over to the concierge and got our HDDR tickets.
When we got back to the room Chad and Halie were sleeping. I went in to take a much needed nap and Rob played some much needed (like a hole in the head) WoW.

Day 5- Part 4: The Waterpark Saves the Day!
The Sleeping Beauty named Krista awoke from her nap at 4:45. I suggested we go to TL and everyone agreed. We were out the door by 5:15. The best part about having a rental car is how quick you can get to a waterpark. We were at the park in about 15 minutes!

I stopped to take a picture when we arrived.
And I was quickly left behind. Thanks a lot guys!
First thing we did was get a large locker for $12. Then we headed to the Crush & Gusher slides. The lines were practically non-existent by now! We rode all three of them! It was so fun!

Then she realizes there’s a camera!

Next we went to the Shark Reef. Halie went all the way through the line and then freaked out when she had to put the goggles and snorkel on. They were just too big for her. She stood on the bridge up above and watched the three of us go. I love the Shark Reef, I just hate the cold water. This time I had a scare though. A ray seemed to be following me. Then something brushed my leg, I about fainted. Then I looked and it was a little girl swimming past me. Doh!
When I got to the steps to get out there was a ray sitting on the steps. I got scared, but luckily it moved and I was able to get out of there. Halie regretted not going and said she wanted to try again another day. Unfortunately she never got that chance.
After the Shark Reef we went to the family raft ride and did it twice with no wait!
Then we did two rides that you ride down on tubes by yourself. Halie liked them, though she was nervous at first. After that the boys went to the wave pool and Halie and I went to the lazy river. After her and I did a lap, we decided to go to the wave pool. We didn’t mean to go out very deep but a wave came and it totally went over Halie’s head and she wasn’t expecting it, and it yanked her right out of my arms. She was freaking out, and I felt horrible. We decided to get out of there after that. Poor little girl!!!!
The boys continued to play in the wave pool for awhile. They had fun rushing the waves like they were football players. Halie went on some of the slides off to the side of the wave pool.
After about 15 minutes of Halie playing on the slides we decided to get going. Halie and I went to the restroom. When I came out of the stall, she wasn’t there. I started to have a min heart attack. I was running around the restroom and shower area searching for her calling her name. Finally she came in from the exit and said, I’m out here. I was so mad. I guess she had went out there to stand with her dad. I told her never to leave my sight again. I was so worried about her!
We went to the locker and got our towels so we could head out of there.

It was such a nice relaxing part of the trip. We loved visiting the waterparks. I definitely recommend visiting the parks a few hours before close. We literally waited no longer than 5 minutes for anything.

Day 5 Part 5- The End of a Super Long, Very Un-TGM Like Day!
When I last left off we were on our way back to the room after the TL EMH was over and the boys were asking which park had EMH that night. I looked in my handy dandy notebook and it was Epcot. “Well, let’s go!” they replied!
I, as the TourGuide extraordinaire was a little nervous. We had already done MGM, got in a fight, more MGM, napped, went to TL, and now go to another park?!? I don’t know about this. I’d also never been to an evening EMH anywhere besides MK. I knew MK EMH’s were awesome, but would Epcot’s be a disaster? Worst of all we were to make rope drop tomorrow at MK. Tired guest don’t make happy memories as TGM would say!
I decided to go with the flow though. Everyone wanted to go to Epcot, they were all in happy moods, and we might as well just do it! We went back to the room, changed, and headed to Epcot!
Now, Chad’s girlfriend (the GPS unit) wasn’t on in time for me to navigate us to Epcot clearly. I was driving and got us completely lost. I think we had to get on and off the highway like three times. Finally Chad’s girlfriend got us back on track and we arrived. We had a pretty good parking spot and I thought the EMH might not be half bad.
As we headed in, I hoped everyone’s lighthearted moods would last through the evening. We were all laughing and getting along. It might have helped that Chad brought himself a little drinky-poo. He poured out part of a 20 ounce bottle of Coke and poured in some Crown Royal. This went right past security with no issue. No, I’m not condoning bringing in your own alcohol, but I was glad because my brother is definitely more pleasant when he’s been drinking. Sad as that may sound.
Right when we got inside the park there were several deserted strollers that people had taken clear to the turnstiles. I figured these were open for the taking so I grabbed one and told Halie to jump in. She enjoyed her one night of being in the stroller!
First we headed to Soarin’. It had a 30 minute standby. I don’t do lines. I’m a TGMer. I’ve never waited that long for anything. But, I was going with the flow, so we got in line. It was actually kind of fun being in the standby line. We’d never been in it long enough to play the interactive games. Chad was really in to it which made it fun!

The line ended up being about 40 minutes, but finally we got on the ride. We all loved it! Chad and Halie thought it was great. Halie was scared last time she rode it, so I was glad she enjoyed it this time. Chad taped the whole thing on his camera phone. I loved when he was taking pictures or video. I knew he was truly enjoying himself when he would do that!
After Soarin’ we went to the Sunshine Seasons to eat. I was disappointed because it’s one of my favorite CS places because of the variety. Well, during EMH there isn’t any variety. It was practically all closed. We all ended up getting ham sandwiches and Halie got a kids meal mini-sub.

And Chad got Butterfinger Cheesecake.
I guess I also got a picture of Chad’s very exciting beer!
During this meal, Chad took a picture of Halie holding his beer with his camera phone. He texted it to her mom with the message, Living it up at Disney World! It was funny!!!
After we ate we went on Living with the Land or whatever that boat ride is called. We really liked it. We think that ride is so interesting. The funniest thing that day was when Halie said, “Somebody has green fingers in here!” I think she meant a green thumb. It was so cute!
Next we headed to Figment. It was good. Then over to TT. TT had a 50 minute wait. By then everyone’s energy level had started to droop so we decided to head on back to OKW. Overall, Epcot’s EMH was okay. Not as good as MK’s. Next time, I’d like to try doing the WS during and EMH.

When we got to the parking lot, Chad found a wheelchair and started playing in it. It was really funny! He was doing wheelies and everything!
We were back to the room at midnight. We passed out as soon as we hit the pillows!

When I last left off we were on our way back to the room after the TL EMH was over and the boys were asking which park had EMH that night. I looked in my handy dandy notebook and it was Epcot. “Well, let’s go!” they replied!

2nd so glad you are continuing with your Trip Report! sorry you had a rough day I think EVERYONE has a meltdown or 2 while at the happiest place on earth LOL.

Thanks! We have to cancel our cruise since we'll be having our baby at pretty much the same time we were supposed to be heading to WDW. I haven't been reading all the cruise reports I was subscribed to because it makes me sad, but I suppose I could at least finish reading yours!!!
