My husband came home from work today and told me that his boss was sending him to Orlando in two weeks for a three day convention. I really want to go, but....we have three boys ages 3, 19months and 2 months. During the day, while he is "working" what will I do? Are there special passes for just two days? We really just want to go to MK and Animal Kingdom (is that the right name?) The last time I was at Disney it was 1977. We were planning to go in a few years, but this is too good to pass up! Any suggestions for a "Disney quickie" would be appreciated! Thanks!

As you only want to go to MK and AK,you can buy one day tickets. Although with one day tickets they are also only 1 park tickets. Which means you can only go to that park. If it is a day when it's too busy in MK you won't be able to Hop to another less crowded park.

Is it just you and the children that will be going WDW??

The 2 month old and the 19 month old won't need tickets. Anyone 3 and over needs a ticket!! 3 to 9 will be a childs ticket. 9 and over is a Adult ticket.

Hopper Tickets start at 4 days, but never expire.

If you still only want one day tickets,You can buy Bounce Back Tickets, the first days ticket is Full price, second days is $5.00 less, and third day is $10.00,but the catch here is you need to buy them all the first Day when you get to the park gates.

If you need more info just ask!! there are lots of friendly people here answer your questions and give you any advice you may need!!!
:) :) :)

Two weeks is a really short time to do all your planning!!

Will you be wanting to eat in the parks?? Character Breakfasts are a fun and easy way to see Mickey or Donald Duck or Pooh or who ever is your favorite. And the Characters come to the table and interact with the kids and you!! It's a great way to get pictures!! But you will need to call WDW to make a Priority Seating=PS. Now this isn't like a Resivation. It means you will get the first Available table. without a PS you may not get a table, especially if it's a very popular place.

You can check out all the Character Breakfasts and other meals here at this link

There is a lot of info on this site!! About tickets, too!!

Here is another link that has a lot of info on Hotels and how to get a good rate!!

With little ones like that I'd highly suggest trying to stay on Disney property if at all possible. Especially if you will be doing the parks alone with three little ones. That way, if necessary, the kids (and the exhausted mom) can get back to the room fairly easily using Disney transportation.

While it seems like you are "wasting money" by not being in the park from sun up till closing, it's more enjoyable to go with rested children. I'd rather take a mid-afternoon break and return to a park with pleasant children than to drag their kicking and screaming tired bodies around a park!

My $.02...for what it's worth

Have a WONDERFUL :bounce: time!

ohiominnie :p

How about plan on sleeping late with the kids and then go into parks when DH gets home and staying till the close. You might want to spend some time at the pool or maybe plan on going to a character breakfast with the kids.
