Two weeks at Aulani over Christmas

is this something to consider or is it way too long? Tell me about your Aulani trips. Christmas or otherwise.

2 weeks in Hawaii is okay, but you should see at least one other island. Our favorite is the Big Island of Hawaii, with Maui being next favorite. Oahu is least favorite.

I think it's definitely too long at Aulani, or on a specific part of Oahu. Aulani is pretty isolated and it's really set up to keep you on property.

Agree with Bill on island preferences, although I will also say A+++ things about Kauai.

This is my opinion too. Love Maui and the big island. Oahu is least favourite. However Aulani makes Hawaii affordable for us. I'm debating between Aulani and WDW for December 2018. Have to plan point usage.

Maybe you could exchange DVC points through RCI to stay at a resort on one of the other islands for one week and Aulani the other week. I've been to all the islands more than once and also spent several days in Ko Olina (stayed at the Marriott, visited Aulani several times), and I agree that I wouldn't want to spend all two weeks on Oahu. Too much to do and see on the other islands!

I could do 2 weeks at Aulani, but I would spend multiple days doing things around Oahu. If we can afford it will do a split stay between Aulani on Oahu and at least 4 or 5 days on another island.

We could do 2 weeks at Aulani but we've been to Hawaii many times and are good with just relaxing around the resort and heading out just a little bit here and there and also have friends on Oahu to visit as well.

Do you own at Aulani? Christmas is a difficult time to book there if you don't from what I've seen.
