Sorry. I know I could find the answer to these if I looked hard enough . . .

It looks like APs might be the way to go for us. We are going to be there for 5 days mid May and then 4 days in October.

Then, we are going back for 9 days at the very beginning of next May.

So, first of all, if AP discounts are ever released for May, can I call and get one - even if I don't have my AP yet? As long as I have it by the time we check in??

Also, I know they are good for a year, but a year from when? From when you purchase them or when you first use them? We want to use them in mid May this year and early May next year, so when and where should we get them to insure that they will still be good at the beginning of next May?

Hope these questions make sense! I can't believe as many times as we have been before that we have never had APs!

In answer to your first question - yes, currently you can obtain an AP discounted room without AP in hand, showing it at check-in will suffice.

In answer to your second question - if you buy your AP from the Disney Store or over the phone/Disney website you will get a voucher which you then exchange for your 'live' ticket at any of the parks or Guest Services at Downtown Disney. If you buy your ticket onsite, you'll be given an active pass immediately.

Your questions all made perfect sense to me :) Hope that helps!
