Two Studios-area questions

1) How do you get from the MGM bus stop to Beaches and Cream on foot, and how long does it take?

2) What's the best way to get to the All Star Cafe via Disney Transportation?

It's a 15-20 minute walk along the path from MGM to the Boardwalk area- it will come out near the feature pool- and then another 5-10 min around to the other side. If it's brutally hot, it's not a very shady walk. But then again, the boat's a/c is apparently not working.. so it could be uncomfortable regardless. At least you'd have plenty of ventilation if you walked.

I don't think there IS a bus to All Star Cafe, which is at Wide World of Sports. And aren't they about to undergo renovation to a CS soon? Kinda sad cuz it's one of the few places you could easily get a walk-up and it was reasonable. Even on Thanksgiving it was empty. I think you have to walk from another location dropoff- either one of the waterparks or a golf course. Someone will come along and enlighten us.

But I'll be there before then (9/8 to 9/14). I'm really just looking for an alternate to ESPN for football on the first Sunday of the NFL season, since I probably wouldn't get there until after kickoff and I expect it would be packed. My bet is that the local CBS affiliate will pick the Jags over the Dolphis, who are playing my beloved Skins in DC.
