Been to WDW many times but never a split stay so I guess I don't know everything Disney! LOL..
We are arriving at MCO at 10:30 pm and taking ME to All Stars for one night and then to BC for 5 nights.

Question 1.. If I do online check in will they text me my room number and I can go right to the room and bypass the lobby since it will be about midnight?

Question 2. ..Do I get 2 sets of MB for the trip?

Question 3.. Will they move us and our luggage to the BC in the morning? I know our room won't be ready but I would like to get there early and then hit Epcot.

1. Maybe. That's the hope, but it doesn't always work out that way.

2. Yes.

3. They will move your luggage. Moving yourself is your own problem. Usually, your best bet is to check out of the hotel, hand over your bags for the transfer, then take a bus to your desired park. Return to new hotel later in the day, and your bags should be there by about 4-5PM.

We took the bags to bell services and they moved them for me-- and got on a bus to where I wanted to go. (If I wanted bell services to pick up the bags I needed to wait in the room til they got there and mornings are the most busy. Do NOT expect your bags until later in the afternoon

My experience...I chose to just have one magic band for my trip. Based on everything else I have read here, it is really attached to your Disney Experience and not the exact reservation. With that in mind, I believe either having one or two magic bands doesn't matter, but purely a preference for you. BUT! We checked in to our second resort and had difficulty getting in the room, went back up to check-in and it took about 15 minutes (with my family waiting back at the door to our room) for the CM to get the manager and get it straightened out. I guess they had to clear our POFQ info so they could add the SSR to our bands. Then it worked!
For my "trouble", the family was given 3 fastpasses to use on any ride at any time, a great sprinkling of Pixie Dust.

Question 1.. If I do online check in will they text me my room number and I can go right to the room and bypass the lobby since it will be about midnight? Generally (in my experience) yes. But it's not guaranteed, there's a small possibility you will still have to stop at the check in desk.

Question 2. ..Do I get 2 sets of MB for the trip? Yes. And you can use them interchangeably as long as they are both linked to you in your MDE account.

Yes, more or less. You will take your bags to bell services and they will transfer them for you, but they won't bring them to your room until sometime in the afternoon. You have to call down to ask them to bring them to you, and you need to be in the room. Or you could pick them up at the bell services desk. You would just take the bus from All Stars to Epcot directly, no need to stop at the BC. I suggest also doing online checkin for that reservation as well, then they will text you when your room is ready. Again, small chance that you might have to stop ant the desk to check in.

Please make sure that the ME will be running when you land. We had problems once when we were going to land late and we changed our flight. Here are the hours from Disney's site - 5am to 10pm. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/magical-express/

Also if you land early enough it could take 3 hours to get your bags - make sure you have stuff you need with you.

As for the split stays - we have done it several times and love it - it's like we have two different vacations. You don't have to get 2 magic bands. You can decline the second set. Also - they will move your luggage for you - it is great - and if you have cold items them will put in a refrigerator for you.

Have a great trip.

We just did an All Star to GF split stay last month. We walked our luggage to the luggage service desk (just outside main entrance) and were there when they opened at 7am. We then hopped on a bus and made it to MK for 8am opening. Got the text that our GF room was ready around 4:45. I had sent in a room request fax via touring plans. We got the exact room requested so I was happy the longer wait was for that. Called bell services from our room and luggage was there in 10 minutes.

Those are the hours for the luggage service. Buses will still run later than that (all night, actually, as far as I know). But yes, OP, don't put the yellow ME tags on your bags because you need to pick up your bags at the baggage carousel and bring them to the ME bus yourself after 10PM.

Yes sorry you are right - when we were traveling that late it was with 4 children and we weren't looking forward to have to get all of our luggage and 4 kids on the bus at that time.
