We're heading down to WDW for 9 days starting this Sunday (2/26) with our four children, ages 9 and under. This is our tenth anniversary, so we'd like to dine out a few times. Since two of our children are autistic, it's impossible to do many (any?) table service dinners, so we're arranging in-room childcare and hitting the town :hyper:

I've booked two ADRs, one on Tuesday for Artist's Point (we're staying at the VWL, so it's close in case of disaster ;) ) and the second on Thursday night at Victoria and Albert's. We're moving to the BWI on Friday, so was thinking of our third dinner (probably Saturday night) either at Epcot or the Boardwalk.

I would love suggestions for another special dining experience. We're not on the dining plan, but have the DDE card, which I think is accepted just about everywhere (including V&A's - yay!) We're adventurous, not finicky - just love good food and atmosphere.

Suggestions?

Happy Anniversary! How about Flying Fish (accepts DDE) or BlueZoo (don't think DDE will work there)?

We recently spent Valentine's Day at Bistro de Paris, the restaurant upstairs. It was a lovely, lovely evening and we were given a table by the window (without requesting!) and watched Illuminations as well. The meal was one of the most delicious and finest that we have ever had at WDW in 21 visits. I had the veal and my husband had the special Valentine's menu (appetizer, duck and dessert) All of the women were given a long stem rose that I thought was a very nice touch. Additionally, we were able to use our DDE card.

I was thinking about Bistro, as we both love French food. How's the atmosphere? Do I even have a shot at getting an ADR for early March (though I had no problem changing our V&As just last week.) Do they do wine pairings?

The place really has a nice atmosphere and they do have wine pairings. I haven't had a problem getting a reservation there in the past. Their reservation window is only 30 days (unless that changed with the recent 180 day deal). Many people don't even seem to know it exists either. A couple of years ago, I called and was able to get seat same day.

Yachtsman Steakhouse would be a wonderful choice. Flying Fish would be a great idea, too.

I think that Artist's Point ( one of the ones you have already chosen ) is a great place. DH and I went there for our anniversary last year.

Either the Bistro or Flying Fish should do nicely. Personally prefer the FF tho--

Our two children have autism and this year we are treating ourselves to a night out. We have chosen Le Cellier as it gets such good reviews. The Yachtsman Steakhouse came a very close second and we might try this on our Christmas trip.

I hope you enjoy your dining choices :thumbsup2
