Hi,

We are going to Disney with extended family and our two rooms are under one reservation. If my family decides to add the dining plan, do we need to add it for the other room also? This is for a dining plan we would be paying for, not the free one.

Thanks

Yes, you have to add the dining plan for everybody because you have one reservation number and everyone under that reservation has to be on the same package.

like the previous poster said, yes. we went this past aug and wanted the ddp but my inlaws did not. we decided to split the reservation.

You cant have 3+ adults in two rooms on one res anyway. Is that how the CM did it? They definately arent getting credit for booking that one

Is this a recent change? We've had 5 adults in 2 rooms on one res. before, and was hoping to do the same if we have family decide to go with us again. Just thought it would be easier for everyone to be on one res. Or am I misunderstanding you?

Disneys policy is 1 or 2 adults needing 2 rooms go on one res. Once you hit the 3rd adult its two seperate res's. If a CM books 3+ adults in two rooms on one res they get in trouble and dont get credit for the booking and the rooms have to be seperated anyway

On one trip we had 3 adults and 5 kids spread out over 2 rooms. Each room was on its own separate dining plan for purposes of combining dining credits, etc. So we had to be careful when dining to make sure we had one card from each room, and would have to tell our server how many credits to deduct from each card. It got a little confusing.

This is my experience too. We were under the same reservation number and everything, but we had to use a card from both rooms for dining credits.
