Two reservations...magic bands question

We have two reservations. One at Coronado Springs and one at Pop. We had one reservation at Pop for 10 nights. Decided we wanted to stay at CS but they only have 7 of our nights so we made a new reservation for CS for the first 7 nights and dropped the Pop reservation down to the last 3 nights. The girl that made our reservation said we would be able to order magic bands for both reservations. We had already picked the magic bands for the Pop stay. It isn't showing up for us to be able to pick bands for the CS reservation. Anyone have experience with this. Should we be able to pick bands for both reservations or was she wrong?

When is your reservation? I don't believe you have an option to customize MBs if it's too close to your check-in date.

July 2 is our check in day at CS.

You should be able to customize 2 sets of bands - one for each reservation.

We have a split stay coming up in June. Both reservations were showing in my MDE. But, for some reason only a set of bands to customize for the latter part of the split stay was showing up on my MDE.

It took one quick phone call to Disney and the cast member did something behind the scenes and within minutes the bands for the other reservation were on my MDE to customize. We verified they were there on my MDE before ending the phone call.

We do a split stay starting next week. We customized bands for each resort in my Disney experience. They sent us a separate set for each resort.

You don't actually need a Magic Band for each reservation - Magic Bands are a link to your MDE account, not to a specific reservation.

When did you actually make the change? Are you sure it's totally linked in MDE?

Siskaren is totally correct that you don't need another one. But if you *want* the other MBs they should be available to customize. Maybe check on another browser in case MDE is being funky on the one you're using.

I should also add that the 2nd hotel in our split stay was not booked through Disney but linked fine and showed magic band customization right after

Great! I'll check on another device first and then give them a call. I do know that we don't need them. It's just fun to have different colors.
