Two questions about VB

Just a couple of questions.

First, how tough is it to get a VB reservation at 7 months out for the beginning of December?

Second, how nice is the weather down there during the same time period? Is the water at the beach warm, etc.. Thanks!

Early December should probably not be too much of a problem booking at 7 months. Worst case, you'll have to spend some time on the wait list.

Weather is tricky since that's the time of year when things start to get changeable. A quick look at the history for December 7 shows temps from high's in the 80's to lows in the mid-40's depending upon the year Most likely it will be warm in the 70's with the potential for a cold day or two. The gulf stream starts off of Vero so the water tends to stay fairly warm year-round.

Christmas morning my inlaws in Vero always make a point of calling us from the beach!!!! I have been down in December and it has been extremely hot, we just got back and it was cool, there were people swimming in the ocean, but I just got off the phone with my DVC rep and she said we were there during the "few days of winter!!!" August is the only time I worry and that's because of the rain!
