Two Queen Beds are Coming on BCV 2 BRs!

I don't know if this has already been reported. The search function is off now and I went back about 5 pages and found nothing.

I called MS yesterday to try to make a reservation at BCV and the CM said that the system for BCV was really messed up because they were trying to add a new room type at BCV. Of course, I asked "WHat kind of room type?" . It's a 2 bedroom with either 2 queen beds or a queen bed and a queen pull-out in the 2nd bedroom! She went on to say "That's the way it was supposed to be when it was built."

So, for those of you who bought into BCV because of the double Queens in the 2nd bedroom, you now have it .

These beds are only being put into the dedicated two bedroom units. I would like to see a few two queen bed in the non dedicated two bedrooms so they could be available to those who prefer that type of accommodations - as a studio. That sofa sleeper (although one of the best) has not the comfort of the queen bed – take it from one who drew the short straw last stay. Love the room having the gathering space, but I would give up that for a better nights sleep.

Am I now allowed to call and request a 2-queen bed 2BR? I already have a dedicated 2BR on my confirmation letter. Would it do any good to request this? It's not a big deal, really, but it would help, since there are 7 of us going to be there in June, and all beds/sofa beds will be used.

I would call and ask that your request for a 2 queen bed, 2 bedroom unit be noted on the reservation. My understanding is that not all of the dedicated 2 bedroom units will have 2 queen beds. That's due to the differing layouts of those units - apparently they are not all the same. Some of the dedicated units will have 1 queen bed and 1 queen sized sofa sleeper.

I am not 100% sure of the above, but that is what I recall. Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to give MS a call.

Only about a third of the BCV dediated 2 BR units will be changed to 2 queen beds, the other 2/3 will be a queen and pull out queen. I wonder if they'll reserve them or if they'll just do it as a request.

It sounded like they were going to allow people to reserve them since the reservations system was messed up because of the new room type.

The 2 queen beds are now in and the system at MS has been changed. You will now be able to reserve, not just request, a 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds. So there will be 3 different types of 2 bedrooms that you can reserve, either:

2 Bedroom Lock - off (1 Queen and 1 Double Sleeper Sofa) - 74 of these
2 Bedroom Dedicated (1 Queen and 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa) - 53 of these
2 Bedroom Dedicated with 2 Queen Beds - 25 of these

I would have forgotten to call MS and change my reservation for June to reflect this! We all really appreciate it!
