Touring Plans has the parks at a 5 the day we are there. Want to maximize the amount of rides and minimize the walking. We will not have early entry as we are staying off-site

Plan 1

Enter at IOA
FJ
Jurassic
Spider-Man
Seuss
HE to US
Mummy
Transformers
Despicable
Shrek
Gringott and Ollivanders

Plan 2
Enter at US
Despicable
Transformers
Shrek
Mummy
HE to IOA
FJ
Jurassic
Spider-Man
Seuss
HE to US
Gringotts and Ollivanders

Thoughts? These are the must do rides and if we get in more great - Jurassic is one we can drop as well

October 7th - the crowd calendars are not predicting high crowds but will be high for October as this is Fall break for a majority of schools.

Do plan 2. You've gotta get Despicable Me out of the way before the line gets to over an hour. I would line up a half hour early and head straight there so that only the early entry people are ahead of you (and almost all of those will be in Harry Potter). Transformers also develop a line, so that's a good thing to knock off second.

I honestly think you will be able to get more than that done in one day.

Thank you! We will start there hoping to get the lines out of the way quick so we can just enjoy

Plan number 2 sounds great, except if EFG is either down for maintenance or if the line is closed for the night, then you might not get onto it. You will have to decide if it is worth the risk, and if EFG is a priority.

If you're interested Orlando Informer has a 1 day 2 park plan similar to your plan 1. (Can't link directly) And Touring plans has a touring plan similar to your plan 2. http://blog.touringplans.com/2014/0...lando-wizarding-world-two-park-touring-plans/ Both of them have additional rides included in their plan that you may not have considered (like MIB and Simpsons). They also give you times to know if you should skip less attractions.

I know touring plans recommends biting the bullet and riding despicable me later in the day with a long wait. I would do a park day call. If there is already a long line for Despicable me I'd skip it for later. Getting 3 or 4 rides out of the way in that first hour could be worth an hour wait for Despicable Me later in the day if it's still 40 minutes at opening.

We will try to move Gringotts back up on the list a bit - but if it is 2 hours in line I don't know of a single ride that I would wait that long for. Single rider is the plan.

We will be there from Oct 7th-14th also. Wondering which schools are out for fall break? We were hoping it wouldnt be a busy time and have checked most of the school schedules and dont see a break anywhere.....

Thanks!:)

some illinois schools/midwest region, have school break from the 10th thru the 13th of october. (Columbus day holiday period)

other states have fall break in this period.

It's Canadian thanksgiving so we have a long weekend that might increase crowds.
