Two Parks/One Day?

With FOTL, can both parks be done fairly easy in one day? (We don't want to be rushing around)

If not, which park would you save for a full day and which would you go to a half day?

There will be 4 adults and three children ages 7, 8, & 11.

If you try to do the two parks in one day, you will find it a bit of a rush and there are bound to be rides and attractions that you will want to repeat. You really need a full day in each and another day split between the two to repeat the favourite bits. But if time is limited, I would say take the full day in the IOA and the half day at Universal - but really you will not get to do all there is to do at Universal. I think the kids will feel they need longer!

Also remember at USO with preshows etc even with fotl it takes longer to do this park apart from MIB

True, commando style, you can do it.
You start at IOA early, take a lap, you'll be done around noon, then head over to USF.

It's funny how people will stay at Disney for a week, then try to squeeze USF/IOA in 1 day, or DC in 1 day. Not that you're doing it, but people need to spend less time at Disney and more at USF/IOA. If doing DC, it's good to spend 2 nights at the Renaissance across from SWF.

robvia, don't tell them that! If they all do that UO will get too crowded , and they'll take away FOTL, make innane attractions from used carnival rides, and they may even make an attraction with little wooden dolls singing an ear-splitting song over and over again .

I would save at least one day for each park. We are spending 5 on our next trip. Can't wait!
