Two parks in one day HS and MK

So I have been planning our trip and we ended up buying the park hopper. My thought is that my wife and I can knock out HS by 3 and head over to MK for the rest of the day to shop maybe ride a few of the rides. Here are our fast passes
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™10:10 AM - 11:10 AM
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue 11:55 AM - 12:55 PM
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith 1:10 PM - 2:10 PM

We would plan on hitting Launch Bay, Muppet Vision and One Man's dream in between and maybe after. I estimate that we will be done with everything by 3 at the latest. So here are my questions

How is the transportation from HS to MK. We have reservations for Skippers Canteen at 5:45.
What attractions could we knock out at MK. What FP should I be able to book
What other suggestions would you have ?

Thanks for any input

Not much advice but I have had a good day starting at HS, boat to epcot (or you could walk), and monorail to MK. We started at rope drop and were out of HS by like 10am though. Still it could work if you dont plan anything at epcot and just want to take the scenic route.

You can take a bus from HS to MK, like Beer Me said you can boat or walk to Epcot then take the monorail to MK (this would require you to walk from World Showcase to front of Epcot though), you could uber inbetween parks, or drive yourself. I personally would just take the bus if you don't have your own car.

And once you're done with your RnR FP, go on the app and reserve your 4th FP for MK to see what's available.

If you are interested I would get there about 30 minutes before the park opens and head straight to Toy Story Mania - waits shouldn't be bad if you do that first thing and I thought it was a surprisingly fun ride (and I can beat my wife in that one, but she always beats me on Buzz Lightyear). If you aren't interested in Toy Story I'd still get there before rope drop and head straight over to Rock n Roller Coaster and ride that first thing then Tower of Terror - should be minimal waits and then you can ride again using Fastpass.

A bus to MK is probably the best bet. Once you board the bus it is a 15-20 minute ride and you might have to wait a bit for a bus to show up. I actually like taking the boat to Epcot (though I'd get off at Yacht Club and just walk the rest of the way) and then walking through Epcot to the monorail, taking the monorail over to the transportation center and then getting the Magic Kingdom monorail. It is a bit of walking but may not take you much longer than a bus and is more enjoyable. Uber/cab would be fastest, but make sure to tell the driver that you are going to MK and want to be dropped off at the Contemporary entrance - 5 minute walk from there to MK.

You are going to find MK pretty busy in the afternoon with long waits at a lot of rides, but it should get better after 8 p.m. or so. Fastpasses for the major attractions may be gone by the time you get there, at least for Space Mtn. and Seven Dwarfs, but as a PP mentioned you should check your app as soon as you are done with the last one at Hollywood. A Small World probably won't have too long of a wait (though I really dislike that ride) and Laugh Floor and Mickey's Philharmagic should both be doable with a reasonable wait, and those are two of our favorite shows (I like Philharmagic much better than Muppet Vision). Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain might not have bad waits either, and both should be doable later in the evening. If I was making a list of "must dos" at MK it would be Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, 7 Dwarfs (if the wait is reasonable), Philharmagic, Laugh Floor, Haunted Mansion and Pirates.

I would bus it between the two parks, maybe even hand out the $15 ea. for the express bus since that will by pass the security lines and get you inside of MK. While I'm not a huge fan of rope drop, I would rope drop it and do RNR, ToT then Star Tours and anything else you want to do and make my FPs for later at MK. Are there later hours at MK on the day you are going? I've had pretty good luck hitting things without FPs after around 7 or 8, I've been able to hit BTMRR, HM, POTC as just about walk ons. It all depends on when you are going, what the hours are and if they have EMH at night at MK.

These are good points. If you arrive before rope drop you can do the rides you want without using your Fastpasses. Just do RnR first since the line will build quicker there than at Tower of Terror. Last trip my daughter and I hit DHS one morning at rope drop and rode RnR first then Tower of Terror I think 3 times in a row with almost no wait.

Another vote for rope dropping DHS and saving your Fastpass reservations for later in the day at MK.

Make a fourth FP reservation as soon as young as scan your MB on your last FP attraction at DHS. What will remain really depends on how crowded it is that day. To make the ADR a at skipper's (we love it there btw), I'd head to adventure land and do something there. Try for a POTC FP or Jungle Cruise (to get you in the Skipper's spirit). That way, you're not jumping off a ride and running across the park to dinner. Alternatively, you could shop leisurely on Main Street on your way to dinner. It really depends on what FPs are available and when, how long standby lines aren't where no you arrive, how long transportation takes, etc.

Try and make Rope drop; that way you can do the rides with a minimal wait. Then go back to use your FP+ if you want. Since DHS is such a small park, you don't have to run from one end to the other for those selections.

As far as MK, you can wait for the bus at DHS, or you can hike over to one of the Epcot resorts to take a bus there. Or You can walk through Epcot and take the monorail to the TTC, then transfer over the MK or resort loop. I believe it would be just easier to wait for the bus at DHS, since it looks like you only want to do those two parks.

Try to do Jungle Cruise after Skipper Canteen to get the true skipper experience. I honestly think anyone that dines there should receive a FP for Jungle Cruise. :)

Crap, I am scared to cancel the FP's that I have to see if I can find some at MK...
